Now the Painting begins

The painting was a success!!! Well spraying on the primer was. We finally got started on painting. We have spent the past week just getting the prep work done. We have been caulking and filling in the nail holes. Which took a very long time. Then we had to cover the windows and showers. That was a lot of work!!! Finally, yesterday we swept up all of the dust and busted out the spray gun!! It was nice to finally start painting. We feel like we acutally got something done!!

Now for the fun stuff!!

Stewart and I started painting this weekend. It was a lot of work. We started off with caulking all of the trim and then filling in all of the nail holes!! We worked all day Saturday and Sunday. On Wednesday we will start with the primer and then finally start doing the actual paint!!!!

Stewart is getting the caulking gun ready.

We are very pleased with how the trim turned out. This is how our windows and doors look with the trim.

Close up of the trim on the front door.

This is our WALK-IN closet. This closet, the pantry, and the garage are the things I look forward to the most!! :)

On Saturday Stewart suprised me flowers in the house!!!

One more pic:)

I couldn't fit this picture on the last post, so here it is. The house is lookin' good!!

As you can see we have the roof done, the exterior doors are in and the garage doors were installed the other day.

Here we go!

Finally here is an update on the house. As you can see the house is fully sheetrocked and taped. They should be starting on the texture this week and hopefully be done by early next week. After that, the trim will go up and then we will start painting!!!

Stewart is standing in the basement. We decided to finish the living room in the basement.

This is the living room up stairs.

This is the side of the kitchen were the stove, microwave, and dishwasher will go.

This is the dining room. The door goes to the backyard.

This is the master bedroom. We put in a tray ceiling. The door to the side goes to the hall way, and the other door goes into the master bath.
